Oval Park Capital is an early-stage venture capital firm on a mission to back breakthrough physical and industrial technology startups that solve the world’s most complex and costly problems.

Based in Raleigh, NC, and investing primarily in the Southeastern U.S. and other overlooked startup ecosystems, we pride ourselves on a contrarian investment strategy – looking beyond Silicon Valley to find value in sectors and regions underserved by mainstream VC.

Our focus spans Advanced Manufacturing & Materials, AI Infrastructure & Computing, Climate Tech & Sustainability, Healthcare Data & Interoperability, Robotics & Automation, and other mission-critical solutions. We actively partner with visionary founders developing disruptive, defensible technologies, and we frequently see value and invest where others don’t or won’t.

Founded in 2018, Oval Park Capital has established itself as an up-and-coming emerging VC fund manager, and one of the only VC firms in the Southeast that exclusively backs visionary deeptech and hardtech startups. To date, we’ve raised two committed venture funds and 10+ co-investment vehicles, deploying $50mm+ across nearly 20 portfolio companies.
